- Rice husk is such kind of waste from rice milling process that so far is not really useful in maximum scale. While, plastic is non biodegradable material by microorganism. Composite is one or more material that is compounded or combined so that to be the new material in more functions. The process in this study uses tensile strain process; rice husk is refined by using rotap sieve to get particle by measurement of 466 nano. Then, the husk is combined by plastic HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene) by husk percentage of 0%, 5%, 15%, 20%, 30 and is processed in injection molding by temperature of 150°C. The result of the experiment shows that the composition of husk of 30%, the tensile strain is decreasing, so that it can be concluded that the more percentage of husk, the decrease of tensile strain.
