The purpose of this study is to determine how the performance condition Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang when measured using the Balanced Scorecard. Assessment of performance at the Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang done for the year 2004 and year 2005 by using the Balanced Scorecard. Balanced Scorecard is one of the methods of performance measurement that takes into account financial and non financial aspects of four perspectives, namely: 1) Financial Perspective 2) Customer Perspective (Patients) 3) Internal Business Perspective 4) Learning and Growth Perspective. The analytical techniques used, namely: 1) Financial Perspective, as measured by indicators of effectiveness of Revenue and Revenue Growth. 2) Customer Perspective (Patient), as measured by indicators Number of Patients, the total number of inpatients and outpatients. 3) Internal Business Perspective, as measured by indicators of ALOS, BOR, TOI, BTO. 4) Perspective Learning and Growth, as measured by indicators of employee retention (employee turnover), employee training (employee training), employee absenteeism. The results of data analysis that can be seen that from 1) Financial Perspective Dr performance. Saiful Anwar Malang during the period 2004-2005, can be seen from the frequency of revenue and earnings growth rate increased. Thus the performance management Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is good. 2) Customer Perspective Dr performance. Saiful Anwar Malang during the period 2004-2005, can be seen from the number of patients, the total number of inpatients and outpatients in which this indicator has been adjusted to the type of ministry. The three indicators are likely to increase. Thus the performance management Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is good. 3) internal business perspective the performance of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang during the period 2004-2005, can be seen from ALOS, BOR who have increased TOI, BTO is decreasing. Thus the performance management Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang can be quite good. 4) The perspective of learning and developing the performance of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang during the period 2004-2005, can be seen from employee retention (employee turnover) alone can not be applied because the discharge of a hospital employee in a normal or normal retirement, employee training (training of employees) from year to year has increased, while absences of employees from year to-year decline.
