Civil engineering (General)</subject><description>The cement board represents material for building materials in which the major material are cement and wood. Cement board is in the form of imitation board was made by wood fiber with glue of cement, has function as ceiling and the wall of room seal. Along with available building materials was more difficult, it would be impact on selling price and processing of product. Therefore were needed alternative materials as replacement of wood can be utilized for cement board. In utilizing plastic waste to be utilization goods and has economic value, we researched plastic waste become addition material in making of cement board. The experiment goods to test flexible strength using test way SNI 03 &#x2013; 6851 &#x2013; 2002 with measurement 530 mm x 50 mm x 10 mm. The experiment goods were consisted 3 variations with variation comparison cement, glue and plastic. Variation 1 = 1 : 0, 5 : 0, 5, variation 2 = 1 :&#xD; 0, 5 : 1 and variation 3 = 1 : 0, 5 : 1, 5. The experiment goods was spread out above test equipment, furthermore the experiment goods was given burden until broken or cracked. From the result of research indicates that flexible strength of plastic cement board for ceiling at variation 1 8,9184 kg/cm2, 14, 1336 kg/cm2 at variation 2 and 11,9064 kg/cm2 at variation 3.
