Based on the results of the analysis of global Monsoon index of each parameter is represented by ISMI (Indian Summer Monsoon Index), WNPMI (Western North Pacific Monsoon Index), and AUSMI (Australian Monsoon Index), and DMI (Dipole Mode Index) in the period of January 1998 until August 2010, the results of statistical analysis shows that the ISMI Monsoon index was relatively dominant influence the behavior of rainfall in some areas of western Indonesia. While, DMI did not show a strong correlation coefficient values, and even some areas showed values close to zero.
