Model perkiraan impuls :nis didatarkan pada panas reaksi pembakaran ideal dan berlaku keadaan adiabatis. Uji pembakaran propelan dilakukan pada tekanan bakar 30 atm dengan komposisi berat bahan pengikat : amonium perklorat : aluminium = 10 : 80 : 10. Propelan dibuat dengan metode casting. Hasil analysis data percobaan menunjukkan bahwa model perkiraan impuls jenis propelan cukup balk Bahcm pengikat sistem HTPB memberikan impuls jenis yang paling tinggi, diikuti berturut-turut PBAN, PBAA, Solithane C100_300, dan Castor Oil. Hasil simulasi terhadap komposisi TD1 yang digunakan juga diberikan. Abstract This paper described a model for determining Specifis impulse of solid composite propellant based on the composition and structure of raw materials. Polyurethane Binder selected was HTPB, PBAA, PBAN, Castor oil, Solithane C,00-300. The model to determine a specc impulse was based on the ideal heat of combustion at adiabatic state. Combustion test of propellant was conducted at combustion pressure 300 atm in Binder : Ammonium perchlorate : Aluminium = 10 : 80 : 10 pbw. The propellant was prepared by casting method. The analysis result on research data saw that the model to determine a specific impulse of propellant is adequate. The HTPB binder had the highest specific impulse, followed PBAN, PBAA, Solithane C100-300, and the lowest castor oil.
