In order to perform excellent services and to improve the existing performance of information searching service, user’s profiles consist of the way users obtained information, users status, the user's age, the most ordered field and the most ordered type of collection need to be identified. User’s perception was also analysed to know user’s assessment of the given information searching service. Questionnaires were distributed to the information searching’s users. Respondent in this research were 61 persons. Data obtained were analysed using the statistic descriptive method. The result showed that the users of information searching on 2013-2015 dominated by undergraduate students in the age of 20-30 years, and most of the service request sent by email. Most users get information about searching service through the internet. The most used fields in information searching were the economy, social/culture, education, law, and general (reference collection such as standard and patents). Users of information searching prefer to use the collection in the digital form the especially journal article. Most of the users satisfied by the service’s speed and the imposed cost.
