Peserta didik pasif karena model yang diterapkan masih bersifat pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. 2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa. 3) mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa. 4) mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Terhadap Hasil Belajar siswa Pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan kelas VIII SMPN 6 Palangka Raya dan 5) mendeskripsikan respon siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitiannya menggunakan Nonequavalen Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 55 peserta didik untuk 2 kelas. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa soal tes hasil belajar untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif , lembar aktivitas siswa untuk mengukur aktivitas siswa, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengukur keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa untuk mengukur respon siswa. Analisis data menggunakan Uji “t”. 
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1).Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing meningkat dari pertemuan pertama kepertemuan kedua yaitu dari 76,92% menjadi 92,31% dengan rata-rata 84,62% berkategori sangat baik . 2) hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum diberikan perlakuan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memiliki rata-rata nilai yaitu 26,370 kemudian setelah diberikan perlakuan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memiliki rata-rata nilai 76,296 berdasarkan perhitungan N-Gain menunjukan kisaran 0,678 berkategori sedang. 3). Aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran dikatakan baik dengan rata-rata skor 78,45% berkategori baik. 4). Berdasarkan analisis uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi sistem pernapasan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Palangka Raya dengan taraf signifikasi 5% dimana thitung>ttabel yaitu 5,629 >2,000 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima 5). Respon siswa sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor 77,8%.

ABSTRACT

The students’ cognitive learning result at SMPN 6 Palangka Raya was still low. The students were passive because the implemented learning model was direct learning. The purposes of the research are 1) to describe the learning implementation, 2) to describe the students’ learning result, 3) to describe the students’ activity, 4) to know the influence of the guided inquiry learning model upon the students’ learning result on the respiratory system class VIII SMPN 6 Palangka Raya, and 5) to describe the students’ response.
The research used quasi experiment method and the design of the research used Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 55 students for 2 classes. The used instruments were the learning result test to measure the cognitive ability, the activity sheet to measure the students’ activity, the learning feasibility sheet to measure the learning feasibility, and the students’ response questionnaire to measure the students’ response. The data analysis used t-test. 
The result of the research showed that: 1) the learning feasibility using guided inquiry learning model increased from the first meeting to the second meeting, 76,92% to 92,31%, with the average 84,62% and was categorized very good, 2) the average of the students’ learning result before given guided inquiry learning model treatment was 26,370, and then the average after the treatment was 76,296 based on N-gain calculation which showed the range 0,678, so it was categorized medium, 3) the students’ activity during learning was good with average 78,45%, so it was categorized good, 4) based on the analysis of the hypothesis test, it showed that there was influence of guided inquiry learning model on respiratory system material upon the learning result of the students class VIII SMPN 6 Palangka Raya with the significance level 5% which tcount>ttable; 5,629>2,000, so Ho was declined and Ha was accepted, 5) the students’ response was very good with the average score 77,8%.</description><date>2018-06-01</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://digilib.iain-palangkaraya.ac.id/1687/1/Skripsi%20Salimardayanti%20-%201301140324.pdf</identifier><identifier> Salimardayanti, Salimardayanti (2018) Pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan kelas VIII SMPN 6 Palangka Raya.
