Telah dilakukan pengkajian unjuk kerja Near Surfase Disposal (NSD) untuk komponen Lining (lapisan) pada fasilitas Demoplant (DP) Disposal. Analisis unjuk kerja komponen lining pada fasilitas demoplant NSD berdasarkan perangkat lunak PRESTO versi 4.2. Kawasan Nuklir Serpong merupakan daerah yang memiliki curah hujan yang cukup tinggi dan lokasi calon DP-NSD terletak di SP4 dengan luas area 4250 m 2 dan memiliki kemiringan lereng di bagian Barat. Pengakajian kali ini adalah mengenai lining tanah/bumi/disposal yang terkontaminasi pada calon DP-NSD tersebut. Jenis radionuklida yang diamati dalam Fasilitas DP-NSD adalah radionuklida dengan waktu paruh pendek (sekitar 5,3 tahun dan di bawahnya) yaitu: Ca-45, Cr-51, Mn-54, Mn-56, Co-60, Zn-65, Se-75, Sr-85, Sr-89, Mo-99, Cd-109, I-125, I-131, Ce-144, dan Ra- 225. Model lining pada perangkat lunak PRESTO versi 4.2 membagi lining disposal yang terkontaminasi ke dalam tiga lapisan: i) lapisan aktif, ii) lapisan atas, dan iii) lapisan bawah. Lapisan aktif sendiri dibagi menjadi: lapisan atas, dan lapisan sisa yang ketebalannya sama di seluruh periode analisa, sementara itu ketebalan sisa lapisan atas menurun dengan adanya erosi pada lapisan. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kehandalan/keselamatan calon DPNSD di Kawasan Nuklir Serpong (KNS) memenuhi standar keselamatan nasional maupun internasional. Serpong Nuclear Region is an area that has a fairly high rainfall and DP-NSD candidate sites located in SP4 and an area of 4250 m2 and has a slope to the west. A review of the assessment time is about lining the ground / earth / disposal of contaminated the candidate the DPNSD. Types of radionuclides observed in DP-NSD facilities are radionuclides with short half-lives (about 5.3 years old and below) are: Ca-45, Cr-51, Mn-54, Mn-56, Co-60, Zn-65 , A-75, Sr-85, Sr- 89, Mo-99, Cd-109, I-125, I-131, Ce-144, and Ra-225. Models lining the PRESTO software version 4.2 share disposal of contaminated lining into three layers: i) the active layer, ii) the top layer, and iii) the bottom layer. The active layer itself is divided into: the top layer, and the layer thickness is the same throughout the rest of the analysis period,, while the rest of the top layer thickness decreases with the erosion of the lining. The results of the study showed that the level of reliability / safety of DP-NSD candidate in Serpong Nuclear Region (KNS) to meet national and international safety standards.
