TI telah mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi dunia pendidikan. Pembelajaran semakin efektif, interaktif, luas, dan tidak terpola hanya dalam ruang kelas. Web Based Learning adalah aplikasi pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan online internet. Metode belajar dengan aplikasi ini menjembatani masalah pembelajaran konvensional seperti keterbatasan watu yang tersedia bagi para pengajar dan pelajar di ruang kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun pembelajaran berbasis web sebagai media pembelajaran online untuk Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengamati sistem secara langsung sehingga didapatkan hasil analisis mengenai kebutuhan sistem yang akan dibuat. Studi pustaka juga dilakukan untuk mencari sumber-sumber lain yang dapat menjadi dasar dan acuan dalam membuat sistem web based learning. Sistem web based learning dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL database. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi web based learning telah didesain dan diimplementasikan dengan fasilitas meliputi download materi, tugas, kuis, dan forum diskusi terbuka bagi guru dan siswa untuk saling berdiskusi ABSTRACT Learning, in practice can not be avoided from the use of technology, especially Information Technology (IT). IT has been able to contribute to the world of education. Learning more effective, interactive, broad, and not patterned only in the classroom. Web Based Learning is the application of distance learning using the online Internet. Learning method with this application resolves the problem come with the conventional learning problems such as limited time available to the teachers and students in classrooms. The aim of this final project is to develop a web-based learning as an online media study for senior high school. The research method was conducted to observe the system directly to obtain the results of the analysis of the needs of the system will be created. Literature study was also conducted to look for other sources that can be the reference in making a web-based learning. This Web-based learning application is made based on PHP programming language and MySQL database.
