Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one of Public health problem because it is widely distributed in the most of Indonesia Region and usually caused an outbreak. The aim of this study was to identify and analyze several factors related to DHF in Makassar city. This was a cross sectional study design involving 346 samples as respondents from different neighborhood association and lowest administration unit of sub urban (RT/RW) that extremely dangerous of DHF. This study was conducted from the firs of May until fifteenth of July 2003. The result revealed that there were significant relationship between environmental condition, waters saving place (TPA), simplicity of water accessibility, knowledge and attitude of community, residence quality and family income with DHF case in Makassar city (p<0.05).
