- This article is investigating southern region of Kyrgyzstan, its modernity and ethno-demographic development. Transition to market relations, socio-economic and political reforms, social and economic instability in the country in early years of sovereignty were decisively influenced by the dynamics and character of population life. That is why a deep and comprehensive study of Republics ethno-demographic process is relevant. In this work, based on statistical data, general description of population dynamics, its ethnic composition and migration processes in current ethno-demographic situation were described.
