Rachman</creator><subject>QD450-801 Physical and theoretical chemistry</subject><description>The problem in this research is the limitation of teaching materials that presents the understanding of chemistry concept for students. Guided inquiry-based teaching materials are selected as solutions that help students learn more actively in understanding the chemical concepts. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a guided inquiry-based chemistry teaching materials. This development research used Rowntree research design and modified by formative Tessmer evaluation method. Stages of formative evaluation of Tessmer in this study include Self Evaluation, Expert Review, One to One, and Small Group. The data were collected in XMIPA 1 SMA SRIJAYA PALEMBANG on the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Experimental review results obtained final score pedagogical validation 0.62 (valid), validation of material 0.83 (very valid), and validation design 0.67 (valid). The result of one-to-one stage is a final score of 0.80 (medium practicality), and a small group stage of 0.87 (high practicality).
