  • This study aims to produce a chemical Problem with high order thinking skill that is valid, reliable, and to determine the differentiation and difficulty of the problem. The development model used is the Mc. Intire development model consisting of seven stages: defining test universe, audience and purpose; developing a test plan; composing the test item; writing the administration test; conduct piloting test; conduct analysis test item, revising the test. Methods of collecting data in the form of tests. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative. The value of a product feasibility agreement is calculated using a kappa agreement. Result of calculation of kappa agreement from two experts obtained 1.00 means the product agreed well by the expert that the product is feasible. Product validity test is done with field test in class XI MIA 3 SMAN 10 Palembang with 42 people. Furthermore, the product reliability test was performed using ANATES Software Version 4.0.5 and produced 0.89 which means that this product has a high degree of reliability. After analyzing the form of differentiating power, the level of problem difficulty and the validity of the problem then generated 8 high order thinking problems with 5 questions that need revision. The results of this study can be concluded that 13 chemistry problems of high level that meet the criteria valid, reliable and have distinguishing power and the level of difficulty of the problem.
