  • Antioxidant activity assay of di-(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate isolated from endophytic fungi Penicillium sp Curcuma zedoaria have been done. Antioxidant activity was tested by used DPPH (1.1-diphenyl-2-pikrilhydrazil) methode with variation concentration 500; 250; 125; 62.5; 31.25; 15.625; and 7.8125 \ensuremathμg/ml. Ascorbic acid was used as a standard compound The research showed the compound have IC50 195.07 \ensuremathμg/ml, while ascorbic acid standard showed IC50 6.06 \ensuremathμg/ml. The compound have IC50 >100 ppm included category in active. Based on this data we concluded that isolated compound di-(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate was inactive as an antioxidant
