The aging process causes progressive cognitive decline including perception, attention, knowledge, thinking and memory. There are several factors that affect cognitive function besides aging due to stress and nutrient intake. Nutrient intake that must be considered include omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids and the most important are omega-3 fatty acids such as Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) which are nutrients macro. &#xD; Methods: This research is an experimental research using the pre-posttest design with control group design. The research subject was male swiss webster mice (Mus musculus L.), age 10-12 weeks, weight 30-40 grams. The number of research subjects was 30 mice divided into 6 randomly selected groups, which is normal (K1), negative control (K2), dose I of catfish oil 0,1 ml induced by stress immobilization (K3), dose II catfish oil 0,2 ml induced by stress immobilization (K4 ), dose III of catfish oil 0,4 ml induced by stress immobilization (K5) and positive control (K6) of 5 mice on each groups. The MWM test was conducted twice, the pretest and posttest. The pretest MWM test was carried out on 0th day, and the posttest MWM test was carried out on the 22nd day.&#xD; Results: Administration of catfish oil for 21 days (p &lt;0.05) reduced latency time at dose 0,2 ml and dose 0,4 ml. Meanwhile, groups with dose 0,1 ml did not show the effect of catfish oil on latency time.&#xD; Conclusion: Catfish oil (Pangasius hypophtalmus), a dose of 0,2 ml and 0,4 ml improves cognitive function of male swiss webster mice (Mus musculus L.) induced by stress immobilization.&#xD; Keyword: CatFish, Omega-3, Stress, Cognitive Function.</description><date>2019-12-28</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/3/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_02.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/4/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_03.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/5/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_04.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/6/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_05.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/7/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_06_ref.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/56/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_01_Front_ref.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/55/RAMA_11201_04011181520074.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/8/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_0002085806_0019028801_07_lamp.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/24551/9/RAMA_11201_04011181520074_TURNITIN.pdf</identifier><identifier> BELLA, KARINA and Sinulingga, Sadakata and Zulissetiana, Eka Febri (2019) PENGARUH MINYAK IKAN PATIN (Pangasius hypophtalmus) TERHADAP FUNGSI KOGNITIF MENCIT PUTIH (Mus musculus L.)
