This study aimed to isolation flavonoid compound and biological activity antioxidant and antibacterial assay. This research was started by maceration using solvents with increasing polarity then separation and purification by chromatographic techniques. The structure of the compound was determined based on spectroscopic data analysis which included UV-Vis, FT-IR, NMR 1D (1H-NMR amd 13C-NMR), and NMR 2D (HMBC and HSQC) spectrometry. Antioxidant activity was tested using the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picril hydrazil) and antibacterial using diffusion method of against Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, Staphlococcus aereus, and Bacillus subtilis. One pure compound was isolated form yellow crystal (18 mg). Based on spectroscopic data analysis and comparing with the literature data, the compound belong to flavonoid group that is apigenin.
