Zn-Al layered double hydroxide and the intercalated are used as adsorbent of Fe(II) and Cr(VI) ions. The factors that influence the adsorption process was studied including time variations, variations in concentration and temperature of adsorption to obtain kinetic and thermodynamic parameters. The results of XRD characterization of Zn-Al layered double hydroxide and the result of the intercalated showed an interlayer distance of 8.589 &#xC5; and after the intercalation process the distance increased to 10.363 &#xC5;. The characterization result using BET analysis showed the surface area of Zn-Al layered double hydroxide was 1.968 (m2/g) and there was an increase after the intercalation process to 14.042 (m2/g). The results of the FT-IR analysis of Zn-Al layered double hydroxide showed the presence of nitrate anions in the interlayer which can be seen from the vibrational peaks at wave number 1381 cm-1. The results of FT-IR analysis of the intercalated showed a characteristic vibrational peak of polyoxometalate compounds at wave number 779-979 cm-1. The pH measurement of pzc from both materials showed different results, pH 6.2 for Zn-Al layered double hydroxide while the results of the intercalations at pH 7.2. The pseudo second order of adsorption kinetics are more appropriate to explain the adsorption processes of Fe(II) and Cr(VI) ions using each adsorbent with linear regression coefficient values close to 1. The adsorption process of Fe (II) and Cr (VI) ions using adsorbents resulting from the intercalation of Zn-Al layered double hydroxide with polyoxometalate compound K4[&#xF061;-SiW12O40] results in greater adsorption capacity. Adsorption of Fe (II) and Cr (VI) ions with each adsorbent with a spontaneous process.</description><date>2020-01-09</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/4/RAMA_47201_08031181621008.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/9/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_TURNITIN.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/55/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_01_front_ref.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/3/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_02.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/1/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_03.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/5/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_04.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/6/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_05.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/7/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_06_ref.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>ind</language><rights>cc_public_domain</rights><identifier>http://repository.unsri.ac.id/25878/8/RAMA_47201_08031181621008_0027117704_0012087401_07_lamp.pdf</identifier><identifier> JULEANTI, NOVIE and Mohadi, Risfidian and Lesbani, Aldes (2020) MODIFIKASI HIDROKSI LAPIS GANDA Zn-Al DENGAN SENYAWA K4[&#x3B1;-SiW12O40].nH2O SEBAGAI ADSORBEN ION Cr(VI) DAN Fe(II).
