Extract endophytic fungi DM6 provides high antioxidant activity with IC50 13,21 μg / mL. Fungi DM6 proceeds to the isolation phase of its secondary metabolite. Endophytic fungi was cultivated in a 300 mL medium PDB (in 10 bottles), then incubated for 6 weeks at room temperature and in a static state. Extraction of extracellular secondary metabolite compounds was carried out partitionally, then evaporated and gravitational column chromatography. The results of pure compound isolation identified using UV, FT-IR, and NMR spectrophotometers. Structure of the compound endophytic fungi of mangosteen leaf is 6-(sec-butyl)-4-hydroxy-3-methyl-2H-pyran-2-one.
