  • This study aims to determine the relationship between religiosity with motivation of parents who sent their children to non-Muslim schools. Research hypothesis there is a relationship between religiosity with the motivation of parents who sent their children to non-Muslims schools. Samples research are 96 subjects who send their children to non-muslim schools in Palembang. Method of data collection in this research is interview, motivation scale and religiosity scale. This research technique sampling was incidental sampling. The results of this study were analyzed using simple regression analysis techniques. The results of this research shows that religiosity has a significant relationship with the motivation, with value R of 0.206 while the value of F of 41.68, with a value of p = 0.044 (p < 0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between religiosity with the motivation of parents who sent their children to non-Muslim schools. The effective contribution of the variable religiosity to motivation is 4,2%. Such hypotheses are stated.
