  • This research aims to determine the effect of the administration of liquid organic fertilizer johar (Gliricidia sepium) leaves on the growth of red spinach plants (Amaranthus tricolor L.). The method used is an experimental method with a completely randomized design design consisting of five treatments and five replications. Treatment consists of (control) and P1, P2, P3, and P4 liquid organic fertilizer with the following ratio: P1 (POC 15%), P2 (P0C 30%), P3 (POC 45%), and P4 (60%). Data were analyzed by ANOVA followed by the Duncan Real Distance Difference test (BJND) and the Smallest Real Distance Difference (LSD) test. The results showed that the treatment of P3 with a concentration of 45% had a very significant effect on increasing all parameters, namely the number of leaves, the wet weight of roots and taruk, dry weight of roots and powder, stem height, and leaf area. Based on these results it can be concluded that the concentration of 45% and is the recommended treatment to increase the growth of red spinach plants. Information on the results of this study is expected to be an alternative contextual example of biology learning Class XII Semester I in Basic Competence 3.1 Explain the influence of internal factors and external factors on growth and development in living beings and Basic Competencies 4.1 Prepare experimental results reports on the influence of external factors on the growth process and plant development. The results of this study will be donated in the form of learning devices (Syllabus, RPP, and LKPD).
