  • This study aims to get information about effect of Course Review Horay Method of Cooperative Learning on motivation and achievement of students at grade XI of SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja, on the material coordination system. This research method using Quasi Experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design-Non-Equivalent Control Group. Sampling method was using Simple Random. Fortehermore, class XI-MIPA 1 was chosed as experimental class and Class XI MIPA 2 as the class of the control by draw. Achievement instrument is 25 question of multiple choice with five items. Motivational learning instrument is a likert scale questionnaire with 15 items. Both instruments have gone through the test of validity and reliability. Data analysis and test hypotheses using t-test. The results of this study indicate that the Course Review Horay method had significantly effect on motivation and achievement of student at XI grade of SMA Negeri 3 Tanjung Raja in coordination system material. The average value of acievement indicated the experiment class had postes (82.74) higher than the control class (73.83). The learning process of experiments class (n-gain = 0.72, high) better than the control class (n-gain =0.59, midle).
